Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Recall Parade mobile app and this website. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

1. What Recall Parade is

Recall Parade is a casual brain-training game built on the operation-span working-memory task: you memorize a sequence of performers, answer quick math questions between them, and recall the sequence in order. It is entertainment with a cognitive-exercise theme.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Recall Parade. If your country sets a higher minimum age for consenting to data processing, that higher age applies. By using the app you confirm you meet the requirement.

3. Not a medical or scientific instrument

Recall Parade exercises working memory, but it is a game, not a clinical tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and we make no claims that playing improves IQ, prevents cognitive decline, or delivers any medical benefit. Scores reflect performance in the game only. If you have concerns about memory or cognition, talk to a qualified professional.

4. Your responsibilities

Use the app as provided: don't attempt to reverse-engineer it, interfere with the ad or purchase systems, or use the app in any unlawful way. Your progress is stored on your device, so protecting the device (and choosing whether to back it up) is up to you.

5. Virtual items and progress

XP, characters, streaks, energy, and any other in-game items are licensed, not sold. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and exist only inside the game. Progress lives on your device, with an optional backup to your own Game Center / Play Games account; deleting the app without such a backup (or losing the device) permanently deletes progress — we hold no copy and cannot restore it.

6. Purchases and ads

The app offers an optional consumable in-app purchase (an energy refill), billed by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms. Prices are shown in the store before you buy. Consumables take effect immediately and, to the extent permitted by law, refunds are handled by the store under the store's own refund policy — we cannot issue card refunds ourselves. Watching rewarded ads is always optional; rewards are granted only when the ad provider confirms the ad was completed.

7. No warranty

The app and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the app or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us through the app in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country.

9. Intellectual property

The Recall Parade name, logo, character roster, artwork, audio, and software are owned by the provider and protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for private entertainment. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the app or its assets.

10. Third-party stores and services

The app is distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play, and shows ads through Google AdMob. Your relationship with those companies is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligations under them.

11. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the app (or features of it) at any time; because the game is offline and local, an existing install keeps working unless a store or OS change prevents it.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and surface the change in the app or on this site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country.

14. Provider status and contact

At launch, Recall Parade is operated by an individual developer under the Thimp umbrella. A corporate entity may be formed later, at which point the provider and contact details will be updated. Contact: hello@thimp.app.
